Melaney Bright, LCSW

Hello! My name is Melaney Grant. I contract with Therapy for Families. I am an enthusiastic, bright, Christian clinician. My extensive experience in social work started in 2010. Ever since I found my calling, I have had so much passion to help families, young couples, and individuals get through each one of their diverse and difficult situations. Such as: 

 

My goal is always to assist you in successfully navigating through some of the most difficult and challenging times of your life. I want to promote valuable life skills such as confidence, assertiveness, and the development of personal boundaries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

I obtained my Bachelor’s at California State University, San Bernardino and my Masters in Social Work from Brigham Young University with a concentration in Clinical Practice. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Texas (65575). I am also a licensed clinical social worker in the state of California (73896). I work virtually in the state of Texas.

Amber Parker, LPC- Associate Supervised by Julia Ayraud

Hi! My name is Amber Barker. I am a dedicated, hardworking, and energetic person who is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults. The world we live in presents many challenges and it is my goal to help clients navigate these situations successfully. I approach each client from a holistic, client-centered perspective. I believe that change happens through having a good therapeutic relationship and by tailoring each session to what the client needs. Some issues I work with

I received my bachelor’s degree in Education through Baylor University and graduated with my master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Texas Permian Basin. I have experience working with a diverse group of clients in the UTPB Counseling Clinic and with elementary age children as a school counselor intern.

Lori Morton, LPC

Hello! My name is Lori and I contract with Therapy for Families. 

With a genuine passion for supporting individuals, couples, and families in their pursuit of mental and emotional well-being, I bring a wealth of experience and a warm, non-judgmental approach to my counseling. I firmly believe that each person is unique, and I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your specific needs, fostering a trusting and collaborative relationship.

Qualifications

I received my bachelor’s in human development as well as my master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University. In addition to my clinical experience, I have been teaching future mental health professionals as adjunct faculty at Brigham Young University Idaho for over ten years.

Hello, my name is Sarah Sherpa. I am a graduate student studying Marriage and Family Therapy at Northcentral University, currently completing my internship at Therapy for Families. I am an empathetic and sincere individual with a passion for assisting others in leading better lives. I believe that meaningful connections are essential for feeling understood and valued, and therapists play a pivotal role in shaping one's future.
