MEET LORI MORTON,

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor

Specializing in Couples Therapy, Family Counseling, and Anxiety and Depression—your journey to healing and connection begins here.

Strengthen your relationships, restore family harmony, and find peace from anxiety and depression—healing starts here

You remember a time when life felt easier—when your relationships brought joy, your family felt close, and anxiety or sadness didn’t weigh you down. But now, unresolved arguments, family tensions, or the overwhelming grip of anxiety and depression make it hard to find peace. Maybe you’re struggling to reconnect with your partner, bring harmony back to your home, or navigate emotions that feel too heavy to carry alone.

You’ve come to the right place.

I’m Lori Morton, and I help couples, families, and individuals work through life’s toughest challenges to find clarity, connection, and calm. Together, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back, build tools for healing, and create a roadmap to help you move forward with confidence and peace.

What to Expect

In our sessions, you’ll find a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and relationships. My approach is tailored to your unique needs and rooted in evidence-based methods. Together, we’ll work toward your goals, whether it’s improving communication, fostering emotional intimacy, or managing anxiety and depression.

For Couples:

Couples often seek therapy to navigate issues such as communication struggles, trust breaches, or emotional disconnection. Whether you’re working through infidelity, feeling like roommates instead of partners, or exploring co-parenting dynamics, I help couples rebuild trust and foster closeness. Using methods like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we’ll create a space to heal past wounds and strengthen your relationship’s foundation.

For Families:

Families face unique challenges, from generational trauma to navigating major transitions or resolving ongoing conflicts. Blended families, in particular, often encounter difficulties in co-parenting, setting boundaries, or fostering harmony among family members. My goal is to help your family improve communication, build trust, and create a more connected and supportive environment. Together, we’ll address the root causes of discord and develop tools to break unhealthy patterns.

For Individuals:

Life transitions, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, and depression can feel isolating and all-consuming. You may find yourself overwhelmed by racing thoughts, unable to forgive yourself, or struggling to maintain healthy relationships. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and boundary work, I help individuals regain control, build self-esteem, and reconnect with their inner strength. Whether you’re coping with loss, breaking free from toxic patterns, or finding clarity in the chaos, we’ll work together toward healing and growth.

A Collaborative Approach

Therapy is a partnership, and I believe in the power of collaboration. For couples and families, we’ll engage in open, honest dialogue while learning skills like active listening, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation. For individuals, we’ll explore your inner landscape and develop practical strategies to navigate life’s challenges. In all cases, my role is to guide and support you as you take meaningful steps toward change.

Why Clients Trust Me

With extensive experience in couples and family counseling, as well as the treatment of anxiety and depression, I bring empathy, expertise, and a commitment to each session. I specialize in helping clients navigate sensitive issues like infidelity recovery, divorce adjustment, and boundary setting. By fostering a supportive and non-judgmental environment, I empower clients to explore their challenges and move toward meaningful change.

Your story isn’t defined by its challenges. Together, we can write a new chapter filled with connection, healing, and growth. Let’s begin this journey toward the life and relationships you deserve.

Before and After: The Transformation

Before therapy:

Couples describe feeling stuck in cycles of misunderstanding, resentment, or betrayal. Families feel disconnected, often caught in generational patterns of dysfunction. Individuals struggle with overwhelming emotions, self-doubt, or an inability to find balance.

After therapy: Couples rediscover intimacy and trust. Families experience deeper understanding, mutual respect, and stronger bonds. Individuals gain clarity, self-confidence, and a sense of control over their lives. Across all areas, clients leave therapy with practical tools, renewed hope, and a deeper connection to themselves and their loved ones.
